The Community Engaged CoLab aims to support communities through collaborative research. We strive to co-develop meaningful research approaches and products with our community partners and ground our research in principles for ethical engagement.

Our Research Areas

Governance and Policy

We consider environmental governance in terms of structures and norms, and link governance processes to policy development.

Learning and Collaboration

We study processes such as learning and collaboration since they are critical to understanding and overcoming social and environmental issues.

We look at wellbeing holistically and consider cultural, relational, and economic aspects of wellbeing.
